BEFORE, DURING AND EVEN AFTER UNI

We love to nurture new talent, lower barriers to entry into the fantastic creative industry and provide real-world experience at WMSH. We offer as many types of placements as there are types of breakfast cereals – check them out!

  • Undergraduates, graduates and school leavers
  • May – September
  • Paid with holiday allowance
  • Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
  • Part-time, hybrid, WFH options available
  • Bonus: you’ll be matched with a mentor who aligns with your career interests!
Who? Architecture or engineering students with CAD skills & people with practical maker experience.
What? Building small-scale manufacturing skills in our workshop and working on designs from conceptualisation to visualisation to build, with opportunities to pitch creative ideas and go on site.
Who? Events management (or similar) students & people with a problem-solving attitude, attention to detail and desire to gain hands-on experience (no academic qualification needed!).
What?  Event planning and production management including scheduling, budgeting, logistics, liaising with suppliers, venues and artists, and on-site experience at events and festivals.
Who? Typical candidates have a degree in humanities, business, media, psychology, sociology or marketing but anyone with a creative flair and practical approach to turning ideas into reality can apply!
What? Assisting the team with research tasks, ideation and fabrication. You’ll pitch creative ideas, gain experience in branding and production, and liaise with both clients and locations.
Who? Students at all levels and disciplines requiring a short-term placement, typically 2-4 weeks.
What? Shadow a team member, see what it’s like to work in a professional, creative environment, and sample a broad range of tasks from planning to creative.
