We’ve been building Pride floats since 2012, and this year marked our seventh Brighton Pride. It remains one of the highlights of our calendar.
From the first preparations in the workshop to the final touches on Brighton seafront, our team spent the weekend bringing Pride floats to life – assembling banners onto vans, securing streamers, hanging giant disco balls, and making sure every detail was ready before the parade set off through the city.
This year, we had the privilege of creating floats for organisations including Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, The Sussex Beacon, Salvation Army Homes, GTR, and BHT. We were also proud to partner with Genius Within, a local charity supporting neurodivergent adults and the organisations that work with and employ them.Brighton Pride has been part of the city’s story since 1973, growing into one of the UK’s most celebrated Pride events. It’s a day that brings together local charities, Premier League football clubs, roller skating groups, samba bands, businesses, and thousands of people in a colourful celebration of community, inclusion, and equality. Watching months of planning come together on a beautiful summer’s day, surrounded by such an incredible atmosphere, is always something special. We’re proud of the creativity, dedication, and hard work our team pours into every build, and grateful to play a small part in an event that means so much to our city.
